Ahead of the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, we asked you last month about the shows and actors you think should win at this year’s ceremony, and AMC breaking Bad prequel got the majority of your votes for Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor in a Drama (for star Bob Odenkirk), and Supporting Actress in a Drama (for long-awaited Rhea Seehorn).
There was a bit more variety in your comedy preferences, with a newbie Abbott Elementary School claim hypothetical victories alongside hacks and Ted Lassoruns in second year. In the meantime, on the limited series front, it looks like you’ve been pretty happy with your time at The White Lotus.
Some fun facts: Of the many very thin margins that showed up in the final poll results, the thinnest was found in the Lead Actress in a Drama category, where Euphoriait was Zendaya who triumphed ozark‘s Laura Linney by less than a percentage point. The the biggest the gap between winner and runner-up, meanwhile, came just one category later — Lead Actor in a Drama Series — where SaulOdenkirk finished 33 percentage points ahead of ozarkIt’s Jason Bateman.
These are just speculations, of course. For the real winners of this year’s Emmys, you’ll have to watch the ceremony live, which airs Monday, September 12 at 8/7c on NBC; SNL veterinarian Kenan Thompson will host.
