2022 Emmys: Who Should Win for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series?

The ladies of The White Lotus have reserved almost all the spots in this year’s Emmy race for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series – but a pair of Dope the stars hope to steal the show.

HBO’s tropical comedy-drama picked up five nominations in this category, led by Jennifer Coolidge, who scored her first career Emmy nomination for her highly quotable performance as crazy socialite Tanya McQuoid. She’s joined by co-stars Connie Britton (aka workaholic guest Nicole Mossbacher), who already has four Emmy nominations under her belt, and Natasha Rothwell (aka spa healer Belinda), who was nominated in 2020 for his production work on HBO. Insecure.

two more white lotus the actors will also enjoy their first Emmy nods: Sydney Sweeney, who played Nicole’s daughter, Olivia – she’s also nominated this year for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria – and Alexandra Daddario, who played Rachel, an unhappy young bride. But don’t count Dope: Hulu’s harrowing docudrama about the opioid epidemic also earned nominations for Kaitlyn Dever, as painkiller addict Betsy, and Mare Winningham, as Betsy’s mother, Diane. (Winningham already has a pair of Emmy wins under her belt, with eight nominations in total.)
