74th Emmy Awards Adds Talent to Broadcast and Streaming Event – Deadline

Television Academy and NBC have added new talent to the lineup for the 74th Emmy Awards hosted by Kenan Thompson.

The show will air Monday, September 12 on NBC while also streaming live on Peacock.

As previously announced, EGOT winner John Legend will perform “Pieces” from his new album Legend for the “in memoriam” segment of the show.

Additionally, Grammy Award-winning artist Zedd will be DJing for the evening and comedian Sam Jay will be the announcer.

The 74thth Emmy Awards, produced by Done+Dusted in association with Hudlin Entertainment and directed by Hamish Hamilton, will be held on Monday, September 12 (8pm-11pm ET/5pm-8pm PT) on NBC while also streaming live on Peacock.

To create a more inclusive experience for blind and visually impaired viewers, NBCUniversal will present the full NBC show with live audio description on the Secondary Audio Program Channel (SAP), provided by Descriptive Video Works. The show will be available with additional audio commentary describing the rich visuals of the Emmys.
