Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif tied the knot with Vicky Kaushal in December 2021. The year 2022 is quite interesting for their fans as the duo celebrated a number of occasions for the first time as a married couple. Interestingly, Karwa Chauth was also one of them. According to tradition, the wife observes a day of fasting for the benefit of her husband. However, Vicky Kaushal went a mile further to make this occasion more special for her beloved.

Katrina revealed that they both stuck together on Karwa Chauth. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Katrina said that Vicky Kaushal chose to fast alone. She also revealed that she was very hungry while waiting for the rituals.
Kat said, ‘I was hungry. (laughs). The point was that the moon would be seen in Mumbai at 9:01 am and it was not seen until 9:35 am I think. And it’s almost like your mind is prepared for what’s expected, but after 9 to 9:30, I was like, ‘I’m hungry! I’m really, really hungry!’”
Elaborating further, the Tiger Zinda Hai actress added: “But the sweetest thing was that Vicky was fasting too. Yes, he was fasting too. It’s not like I asked him to do it all. I didn’t say anything. He did it himself, so that was sweet Since it was our first year of marriage, there’s pooja happening and stuff, so that was lovely.”
On the night of Karwa Chauthvon Thursday, the Zero actress grabbed her social media handle and shared a few photos that gave an inside look at her first Karwa Chauth with Vicky. While in two pictures the couple posed together, they also posed for a family photo. While Kat draped a pink saree with a colorful blouse, Vicky opted for a chic look in cream-colored ethnic attire.
