On Bigg Boss 16 Friday Ka Vaar, Sumbul Touqeer’s father joined Salman Khan on stage and scolded Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta for playing with his daughter’s feelings on the show. Her father reprimanded Shalin, saying that Sumbul met him with a pure heart and that he was joking with her. Since Shalin seemed quite disturbed by the incident, Sumbul walked up to him and said sorry. But Sumbul’s actions have greatly annoyed viewers.
When the show had just started, Sumbul and Shalin developed a close bond and spent a lot of time together. But their comparison raised eyebrows both on and off the show. Many of her fans expressed concern about Sumbul’s close relationship with Shalin. But now they’re hitting on Sumbul after she apologized to Shalin after her father called him names.
People felt that Sumbul was wrong in this case and Shalin had no role to ruin her image, but she does it herself. Viewers also thought that Sumbul looked stupid and called her immature for her behavior. Her roommates were also surprised that Sumbul went with Shalin again after everything that had happened.
