Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn took to social media on Monday to reveal the highly anticipated trailer of Drishyam 2. Starring Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna and Ishita Dutta, the launch of the trailer took place on Monday, October 17 in Goa as the film has the location as its central plot.
Drishyam 2 trailer launch: Ajay Devgn and Tabu get emotional at the memory of late Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat – : “Without him this wouldn’t have been possible”
During the press conference for the launch of the movie post trailer, protagonists Ajay Devgn and Tabu got emotional, as they later recalled Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat. “I want to take this opportunity to remember Nishi, who directed the first part,” said Ajay Devgn. “Without him, this would not have been possible.”
Tabu said, “I want to remember Nishi and how easy he made the whole experience of the first part.” When asked about Nishikant’s legacy, Ajay said, “No matter how much I talk about Nishi, it won’t be enough. We all miss him. If he had been here, we would all have been very happy. But the show must go on.”
Nishikant suffered from liver cirrhosis, which he succumbed to in August 2020 at the age of 50. The late filmmaker directed the first part of the film. The directing duties were then taken over by Abhishek Pathak.
Viacom18 Studios presents Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios present, Drishyam 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The original score and music is by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad). Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 will hit theaters on November 18, 2022.
