After making a mark in regional cinema, actress Tamannaah Bhatia also established herself in the Hindi film industry. Bhatia and Prabhas starrer baahubali definitely broke the barriers and became one of the most popular pan-Indian movies. And today the actress enjoys pan-Indian stardom. However, she believes there is no concept of “big stars” as it ended with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

During a fun game of rapid fire with Bollywood Bubble, entertainment actress was asked from Rashmika Mandanna, Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda and all the young southern stars venturing into Hindi movies, who have the opportunity to become the next Hindi superstar. Although she didn’t choose any of the names from the list, she put an interesting twist on her answer.
In her response, the Himmatwala actress claimed, “I think the idea of stardom has changed. I don’t think there is this concept of the biggest star. It ends with Shah Rukh Khan and Mr (Amitabh) Bachchan, if I may say so.” As the game progressed, the portal asked who her favorite pan-Indian superstar is, to which Tamannaah commented: “It’s a very fragile term. Unfortunately, this pan-Indian thing is a new phenomenon, a new fad.”
The 32-year-old actress came to her professional front, giving two back-to-back OTT releases in September. While Babli Bouncer was released on Disney+ Hotstar, the Netflix original Plan A Plan B featured her opposite Riteish Deshmukh. The actress is now gearing up for her Malayalam debut with a self-titled film. The film, directed by Arun Gopy, stars Dileep.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan, who currently hosts Kaun Banega Crorepati, will next be seen in uunchareleased on Nov 11. While Shah Rukh Khan recently dropped a fresh still from his comeback movie Pathan.
