Parineeti Chopra, who is part of uuncha Directed by the tough filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, is overjoyed to be working with Amitabh Bachchan on his landmark year. Parineeti thanks the megastar for teaching her what truly humble means.
Parineeti Chopra on collaboration with Amitabh Bachchan in Uunchai: ‘My journey in the cinema would have been incomplete if I had not started working with him’
Parineeti says: “It’s just amazing that I’m going to be working with Mr. Bachchan this year, which happens to be his milestone in the 80th birthday. Even after he may have achieved everything, it was great to see him approaching the sets every day like it was the first day of his career.The dedication, drive and passion he has for cinema is incomparable and that’s what sets him apart.He’s an attitude and thanks to Uunchai I checked working with him off my bucket list! My journey in the cinema would have been incomplete if I had not started working with Bachchan, sir.”
She adds: “The time I spent with him on Uunchai’s sets is one of the most precious moments of my career. He taught me the true meaning of being humble, despite being a megastar that he is, and that’s what I learned the most from him. What I have most associated with him is that he is so eager to learn and always eager to learn! He’s a beautiful person and it was a joy to work with him on the same film.”
In Sooraj Barjatya’s uunchaParineeti will star with Amitabh Bachchan and actors such as Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Sarika and Neena Gupta. The film will hit theaters on November 11.
