EXCLUSIVE: Black Adam Star Quintessa Swindell On Collaboration With Pierce Brosnan: ‘He’s Literally A Guru’

Quintessa Swindell says: “Working with Pierce Brosnan – the man is so alive. He’s just so stoic. Every time we were on set with him, we were just like ‘Wow’. I don’t know how else to explain it. But the man is literally a guru. It’s, it’s incredible.”

In a loft in downtown Los Angeles, Quintessa Swindell jumped on a zoom call early in the morning while donning a comfy sweater and bandana with a big smile that started the fun conversation with Bollywood Hungama. It was important for Swindell to outline the solid story that remains comically accurate. Swindell added: “The way I like to prepare for each role, I like to do a lot of character development and try, especially if the character is as presented before, or there is source material, I want to be as accurate as I can be The portrait and honestly, just make the people aware of that character proud in a way and just be, ‘Okay cool. This was going to like someone who really cared and wanted to do justice to it. to do.'”

Quintessa goes on to say: “Cyclone is an incredible character and there is so much to discover. The film really gives the foundation of who this person is and what you know. We can kind of launch her, so that’s just so exciting. The people who gave DC so much source material, even when Cyclone was in a little square of a comic, said, ‘What do you see?’ And I was like, ‘I get it, I get it.’ As for the comics and everything, I watched it so much because I wanted to see the clothes she was wearing and why she was wearing those clothes, and just all of that and shaped the character itself, so just looking at that, putting my own spin on it, making it modern and really giving in to it was so important to me.”

Swindell, who studied theater in Marymount Manhattan before quitting acting in Los Angeles, admits shooting Black Adam was an immersive experience and there were days when Swindell would visit him even when there was no schedule. Swindell says: “It was an insane experience just walking up into this huge studio lot. And even some days I wasn’t even working and just went to the lot to be there, and just see what my other co-stars were doing, and seeing them at work like that was just so inspiring. When it was the days when we were all working together, it just felt like there was a power on set. person had a different journey and a different movie experience, all of which were very inspiring for me to learn, learn from and just witness and see.”
