Bollywood’s young and talented star Aayush Sharma, recently poured his heart into an open, honest and candid conversation with young students from a university in Pune, while shedding light on his ‘Rags and Riches story on social media’.

Aayush Sharma opened up about the varied aspects of social media and the change in perception and approach on the internet over the years, and engaged in a cordial interaction with his young audience. With his serious, witty and outspoken personality, Aayush won hearts at the TedX Talks.
The star was greeted with much love by his young fans as they lined up for selfies and danced with Aayush on his chart-topping Chogada.

Man with multiple identities:
Despite becoming a national sensation with the release of his first song ‘Chogada’ from his debut film loveYatric and earning accolades for his second film Antim: The Last TruthCalling himself an aspiring actor, Aayush Sharma revealed his rendezvous with an identity crisis on TedX Talks.
However, after working in two films and multiple music videos and working as an assistant director for four years before starting his acting stint, Aayush Sharma still struggles to be identified as an actor and is usually called “Arpita’s husband”, “Ahil’s called husband. father’ and especially ‘Salman Khan’s brother-in-law.

In the past, actors took their CDs/tapes to auditions, while nowadays only the roles are enough!

However, his mind was stunned when he opened up to reality when his wife Arpita took him to Gaiety Galaxy where people not only loved him in the movie but also sat on the chairs and danced to his song, harassing him and showed their love.
Appearances are deceiving:
Social media today has also placed an obsessive importance on looks, visual appeal and aesthetics over reality, forcing audiences to mold themselves to deliver unrealistic expectations. Aayush Sharma revealed that while the internet has praised him for his physical transformation, what can be seen on screen is a product of routine and months of training aided by good lighting, cinematography and editing. For one scene, which lasts a day, actors are on a strict diet with no water, or food to deliver one take with the perfect body. And so the actor does not remain in the same form all year round, but the perception created on the screen and social media forces countless young people into crazy diets.
