India won the T20 World Cup match in Melbourne against Pakistan in one of the most exciting matches of all time. Cricket player Virat Kohli made his long-awaited comeback and was praised for his performance. Anushka Sharma, actor and wife of Virat, could not contain her excitement at the sight of his performance.

Speaking to broadcasters after the India-Pakistan match at the T20 World Cup, Virat revealed that Anushka Sharma was extremely proud of him. “I spoke to my wife Anushka, she was overjoyed. She only told me one thing: ‘People are so happy. They call me to express their happiness, I don’t know what to do.’ So I don’t realize what’s going on on the outside. My job is to do it on the field,” he said.
Virat Kohli’s performance on Sunday took over social media. After 18 months of hard times during competitions, he finally became the star of the night. He gave up the T20 captaincy after his performance at the World Cup. He also later gave up the captaincy of Test cricket. Now cricketer, Rohit Sharma is the captain for India in all formats.
Earlier in the day, Anushka Sharma shared a loving note for Virat as she watched the match at home. “You beauty!! You damn beauty!! You have brought soooo much joy into people’s lives tonight and that too on the eve of Diwali! You are an amazing amazing man my love. Your perseverance, determination and faith is astounding!! I have just watched the best game of my life I can say and although our daughter is too small to understand why her mother was dancing in the room and screaming wildly, one day she will understand that her father played his best innings that night , which followed a phase that was tough for him, but he came out stronger and wiser than ever before!” she wrote.
“So proud of you!! Your strength is contagious ⭐️and you, my love, are limitless!! I love you forever and through thick and thin,” she added. Virat responded to her in the comments, writing: “Thank you my love for being by my side every moment through everything. I feel so grateful and love you so much.”
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma returns to the screens with the Netflix movie, Chakda Xpress. The actress will play the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
