Southern cinema actor Thalapathy Vijay starrer varisu announces release date during the unveiling of a new poster to mark the occasion of Diwali.
Vijay Announces Varisu Release Date; to clash with Prabhas’ Adipurush in January 2023
varisu is a bilingual film that brings Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna together for the first time. The movie is titled vaarasudu in Telugu. The film has been confirmed to clash with Prabhas .’s mythological drama adipurush in the South Indian states during the Pongal festival.
adipurush, written and directed by Om Raut, is based on the epic Ramayana. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon and will hit theaters on January 12, two days before the Pongal/Sankranti holiday.
When announcing the release date for varisuthe creators of the wholesome entertainer this Diwali also dropped a new poster on the occasion of Diwali on October 24th.

The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, features an extensive cast ensemble that includes Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj, and Yogi Babu.
varisu will be released during Sankranti/Pongal 2023.
