“The View” turned into chaos on Monday morning as audience members disrupted the show to protest the appearance of Ted Cruz, forcing producers to cut the commercial when the shouting became unholy. Now, activists in New York have claimed responsibility for the controversy, declaring that this is the first protest against a new movement.
Appearing on “The View” to promote his new book, Cruise was answering one of the hosts’ questions when at least two audience members chanted “Cover the climate now!” Started shouting phrases like As he chanted, the senator went through his reply over and over again. Now, in new video released by Extinction Rebellion NYC — an organization dedicated to “nonviolent direct action” — it’s revealed that the demonstrator was shouting “F—you Ted Cruz, you SK climate-denyer.” pieces-.”

According to Extinction Rebellion, the protest was the first to come to the city. “This is in collaboration with @nychange, @sunrisemvmtnyc and other partners in NYC to close #OccupyParkAve – protests have been taking place along Park Avenue throughout the week,” the organization tweeted.
New York Communities for Change also posted video of the exchange, explaining that it was to protest ABC, not just Ted Cruz.
“Whoopi said, ‘Let us do our job’ – but your network is failing to do the ITS job! It spent less than 6 hours on the climate in 2021!” The organization tweeted. In a follow-up tweet, he criticized the host defense of “The View”.
“@ABC thinks itself good on the climate. After we took us out, the hosts told everyone they covered the climate,” he wrote. “This is greenwashing: even during this record-breaking summer heat, it Often failed to link the dots to the climate crisis and call fossil fuels.”
