MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Face/Off is my favorite action movie, especially since we had the maestro John Woo to direct,” he said. “The process was a matter of shooting videos from Travolta’s daily newspapers and trying to study them so I could copy his voice and movements. John Travolta, on the other hand, did the same with my newspapers.”

In June, Wingard also said of the screenplay co-written with Simon Barrett: “We’re really working on… [the script]. We’re not going to share it until everyone says, “This is it.” I think we really get it. It’s probably the most challenging script we’ve ever worked on, for several reasons. There’s so much pressure to make sure it lives up to the legacy of that project. But with every concept, you have these things that just click in, and you’re like, ‘A-ha! That’s really what Face/Off is!'”
