Now that Gunn and Safran have had their hands in most of the biggest DCEU movies in recent years, the move appears to be a step in the right direction and one that has been welcomed by fans of the couple’s recent DC output. . How all this bodes well for the franchise is likely a few years before it’s fully realized, but the work of making the DCEU a true Marvel challenger seems to start here.
