According to the campaign page, Schomer expects the documentary to finish filming by March 2023, with distribution by mid-2024. Since Darren’s collection is absolutely unrelated to film funding and i2i Productions, the Kickstarter page also lists where the additional funds will go. will be used, namely:

We’ve already raised money that got us halfway through the filming phase (production), and this campaign is designed to get us through the filming completion. That’s why we set our initial goal of $125,000 – but when we reach it, we’re aiming for $250,000 and more.

We want to make sure we honor the comic book community of superheroes with a high level of animation and graphics running through our story. We have an ambitious production, post-production, festival and distribution strategy for this film, and we hope our support here will inspire investors and producers to match, fulfill or increase our ultimate budget needs.
