John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan is back in the first trailer for the long-awaited third season of the Prime Video series. Fans have been waiting three years since Season 2 of the series ended, but “Jack Ryan” Season 3 arrives this year from Amazon as a special Christmas gift with a December 21 release date.
In “Jack Ryan” Season 3, Krasinski returned to the titular role alongside Wendell Pierce and Michael Kelly, reprising their roles as CIA officer James Greer and former CIA office Mike November, respectively.
This time in the story Ryan is working as a CIA case officer in Rome when he is told that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire, is being revived after more than 50 years. , which was thought to have been discontinued. Below Jack sets out on a mission to verify intelligence, but things quickly go awry, and he is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy. Charged with treason, with red notice out for his arrest, Jack is forced to flee his own government if he has any hope of uncovering the evil faction before it’s too late. Traversing a Europe hunted by former allies and new foes alike, Jack races against the clock to prevent destabilizing conflicts from leading to global catastrophe.
New cast this season includes Nina Hos as Czech President Alina Kovac and Betty Gabriel as CIA Rome station chief Elizabeth Wright.
All eight episodes of “Jack Ryan” Season 3 premiere on December 21 on Prime Video. The show has already been renewed for a fourth and final season, which will begin at a later date.
