HBO Max Finally Reveals Gossip Girl Season 2 Premiere Date

Gossip Girl returns for season 2 on HBO Max on December 1 per Teen Vogue. The news comes months after the series’ first season finale last December. In September 2021, the streamer confirmed that the sequel would return for a second season. Season 2 also marks the arrival of Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Georgina Sparks in the original 2007 series. Showrunner Joshua Safran confirmed Trachtenberg’s participation in the sequel last October, sparking fans of the original series.

When audiences first met her, Georgina was a rebellious Upper East Sider with a penchant for fueling drama. During the fourth season of the original show, Georgina gave birth to her son Milo. The new series introduced Milo (played by Azhy Robertson) during the first season. The public immediately saw that the apple did not fall from the tree, and Milo was just as intelligent and problematic as his wealthy mother.
