20th Television appoints Jenna Riley as SVP of Drama Development

20th Television is expanding with the promotion of Jenna Riley as Senior Vice President of Drama Development and the appointment of former Lionsgate Television executive Jade-Adon Hall as VP.

Riley, who previously served in Hall’s current role, will oversee the drama development team while serving on the studio’s roster of writers, producers and directors. She will report development to EVP Carolyn Cassidy.

Cassidy said in a statement, “Jenna has a long and prolific history with 20th, where she has developed exceptional relationships in the creative community and an unparalleled ability to continually elevate material. Trent nurtured our slate of drama pilots in series orders including Milo Ventimiglia’s The Company You Keep and True Lies. He has a deep passion for television, and you’d be hard pressed to find a series he hasn’t eaten Carrie and I feel confident and excited about her ability to nurture the next generation of breakout dramas for our Disney platform.”

Riley began his tenure at 20th Television in 2009 as an assistant to Chairman and CEO Dana Walden and Gary Newman, who have since risen through the drama development ranks. As VP of drama development, he also shepherded the new ABC series “Will Trent” and the upcoming “The Company You Keep” as well as CBS’s “True Lies” and Disney+’s drama “The Crossover.”

In his new position, Hall will develop new projects from pitch to pilot, reporting to Riley.
