About Alex Cross

“James Patterson is one of the best at captivating audiences with his undeniably captivating novels and we are confident that with Ben Watkins’ artistic vision, Crotch will do the same for our global customers.”

The first two books in the series, A spider passed by and kiss the girls, were adapted in 1997 and 2001, respectively, in reverse order of publication. In both, Morgan Freeman starred as Cross. Then, in 2012, the franchise was rebooted with Tyler Perry playing the detective in Alex Crossan adaptation of the twelfth novel in the series, simply titled Crotch.

A plot outline for the series has not been made available, but the show’s writers have plenty of material to choose from. The Alex Cross book series is currently at 30 episodes and counting. That is also without going into the novellas or the spin-off series around the latest issue of Cross, entitled Ali Cross.
