Jennifer Winget struggled with her divorce from Karan Singh Grover. The two dated for a few years after making it on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye and got married in 2012. They divorced in 2014, a post that got the actress a lot of judgments due to her personal life. Jennifer recently spoke about her divorce, with people looking at her with sad, compassionate eyes and thinking how bechari she was.
“I was so lost and confused I didn’t know what to tell people or how to handle it. I remember my friends forcing me to go out and I feel like I don’t want to go. But when I used to i went out i saw people looking at me with those sad compassionate eyes like ‘arre bechari yaar’ and it pissed me off even more that’s why i wouldn’t go out i understand you feel for me its great but i don’t need that now Right now I’m not ready to hang out with you because I’m dealing with me So that’s why I cut myself off from people and once I was done I’m so done Jennifer told Bollywood Bubble.
She feels that none of them were ready for the divorce. “It’s not just him (Karan Singh Grover) or it’s not me, neither of us were ready to take that step. We had been friends for so long. We were like a house on fire every time we met. But I think it was unfortunate timing, I think.”
Before getting married to Jennifer, Karan was married to Shraddha Nigam. After divorcing Jennifer, Karan found love again in Bipasha Basu while working on Alone and married her in 2016. Jennifer is currently happy being single.
