Not much more has been revealed about it Crystal lake, though Fuller has described the show as a “pre-remake-uel series”. That suggests it’s not necessarily set in the same universe as the original movie, which opens the door for some big changes. But one thing that will carry over is Jason’s brutality, as Fuller has promised that the mute maniac will be no less violent than what fans expect him to be.

“It’s going to be pretty murderous! I think we’re going to be dropping bodies every episode, and I think there’s something going on because hopefully we’re going for the long haul,” said Fuller.
