Where the cast is today

A comedy-drama crime procedural television series called Bones debuted on Fox in 2005 and ran until 2017. Over the course of 12 seasons, the program aired 246 episodes. The series is very loosely based on the life and novels of Kathy Reichs, a forensic anthropologist, who also produced the show. Temperance Brennan, the title heroine, is named after the main character of Reichs’ crime fiction series. The pun is reversed in the Bones television world, where Dr. Brennan creates hit mystery books starring a fictional forensic scientist named Kathy Reichs.

Every episode in Bones focuses on an FBI file relating to the mystery surrounding human remains that FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) brought to forensic anthropologist Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel). In addition to work, the show also explores the characters’ personal lives. The cast of Bones most likely went on to interesting new projects after starring in such a long-running series.
