Battle of the best as both actors gear up to fight for TRPs with their comedy shows

Sunil Grover will be back on TV with a bang with a comedy show and this time he will take on his strongest competitor Kapil Sharma. The show Sunil will be part of is India’s Laughter and will be broadcast on Sony TV. Sunil Grover, who has undergone surgery, is currently extremely fit and well and has reportedly been approached to return to the channel’s show as his Guthi character is highly regarded to date. Not only Guthi, but his Dr. Mashoor Gulati is the most beloved cartoon character on television to date.

Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover will have another face-off?

After leaving The Kapil Sharma Show, Sunil has been into movies and web series and doing extremely well but now the channel has approached their OG comedy king to be a part of the new show India’s Laughter and this will lead him automatically against Kapil Sharma who is the strongest league. The world knew what went wrong between Sunil and Kapil and they have kept a worthy distance from each other ever since. However, they are cordial and wish each other well, but they don’t want to lock the horns professionally. But it looks like the channel is now making the best of both actors to re-align themselves for a fight against TRP by launching a brand new comedy show.

But did you know that despite the ugly fight between the two, Sunil had talked about the possibility of working with Kapil again in one of his interviews when asked about the same thing? He had said: “There are no plans at the moment, but if something happens one day, we will work together”. While Kapil also admitted in one of his interactions in 2020 that he has moved on and learned a lot from Sunil Grover and would love to work with him again one day. But it seems that the broadcaster has decided otherwise.
