Tubi’s Terror Train sequel premieres on New Year’s Eve

Terror Train 2, a sequel to Tubi’s recent remake of the classic slasher movie, premieres December 31.

The sequel to Tubis Terror Train is moving full steam ahead with a streaming release coming in before the end of the year. Tubi has officially announced that the streamer has teamed up with Incendo for Terror train 2, a sequel to the 1980 slasher movie remake that premiered last October for the Halloween season. It wasn’t clear when that movie was released that there would be a sequel to it, especially one that came so soon after the first.

While Terror train 2 introduces a brand new storyline, it is connected to the earlier movie with Robyn Alomar (Utopia Falls) and Tom Rozon (Schitt’s Creek) return to reprise their roles. Part 2 takes place more than a year after the events of Terror Train while the survivors are still reeling from the impact of the brutal killings. Hoping to face their fears, they are forced to board the same train for a New Year’s Eve redemption ride, unaware that a new evil awaits them ahead of another battle to stay alive.

This new ride aboard the Terror Train kicks off New Year’s Eve with ‘Final Girl’ Alana and the mysterious wizard facing a new threat in this horror whodunit.”

“Horror genre franchises have proven time and time again to be one of the most successful movie brands,” added Incendo executive producer Brook Peters. “In the sequel, we’re excited to bring horror fans a seamless and terrifying continuation of the story that also pays a thematic homage to the original 1980 cult classic.”
