On the one hand, Urfi Javed has faced harsh criticism for her bold fashion choices. On the other hand, she has received positive words of appreciation from Sunny Leone. The host of Splitsvilla 14 recently praised Urfi for carving a niche for herself with her unusual dress sense in a saturated market.
In a new interview, when Sunny was asked about Urfi, who is also taking part in Splitsvilla 14, the Ragini MMS 2 star said she loves Urfi. She also respected her choice to come up with the idea of creating a different identity for herself, which many may not like.
“I think what she’s done, creating a niche for herself in a market that’s completely saturated, is amazing. She took the idea that “this is how I’m different and I’m fine with that, I want to dress the way I want, talk the way I want, I want to talk about something that matters to me whether someone likes it or not”. I think she’s amazing,” Sunny told Bollywood Hungama.
Talking further about meeting Urfi at Splitsvilla 14 sets, Sunny said she loved her presence on the dating reality show because she was like ‘Main aisi hi hoon.’ She added that it was a pleasure to watch her as she also had some emotional and vulnerable moments in the show, which she thinks people will see her other side too.
Meanwhile, Urfi has been in the news since Chetan Bhagat called her a distraction for the youth. Chahatt Khanna supported Chetan’s statement and said he was happy that people opposed it. This did not go down well with Urfi, who criticized both Chetan and Chahatt for using her name for publicity.
