After foraying into South Korean cinema, Anushka Sen wishes to work with Rohit Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Anushka Sen is one of the most popular actors among the younger generation. She is known for her work in the TV show Jhansi Ki Rani. She was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. And now she will soon make her foray into South Korean cinema with her upcoming film Asia. While Anushka is currently over the moon with the kind of projects landing her pussy, the actress has expressed her desire to collaborate with directors like Rohit Shetty and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Speaking about her desire to collaborate with Indian directors, Anushka said she wants to work in the south as well as commercial Bollywood films. He feels there is so much to do and learn about movies of different genres. Besides Rohit Shetty, she also expressed her desire to work in Bhansali films, Imtiaz Ali and the list goes on.

“I would love to work with Rohit sir (Shetty) because I met him and he is one of the most amazing people. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of my favorite directors. I am studying film making and will graduate in March. I realized that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films have Indian cultural roots in every film,” Anushka told Mid-Day.

Anushka also shared how she deals with her popularity and the influence she has over her followers. She said she sometimes becomes speechless when parents come to tell her that their children want to be like them, when she herself is only 20 years old. She believes that as an actor and influencer she has a certain responsibility as many people blindly follow their favorite stars.

The actress has returned to India after completing the first schedule of her South Korean film Asia. Talking about the movie, she said that the movie has a very unique concept and there are people from all over Asia. She plays a central character and represents India in a sense. She’s playing an assassin for the first time and this will be really new and unique for her.
