Finding the moments that make these characters most human are some of the best. Sure, we love watching them kick ass and take down a herd of zombies. However, sometimes it’s the quiet moments that are the hardest. After the prison is overrun, everyone is separated and alone. Rick deals with healing from a severe beating and the belief that Judith is dead. Carl must fend for himself and protect his father. Michonne is forced to face the reality of being alone again. But just as she is about to lose hope completely, she runs into Rick and Carl in a house. The relief that washes over her face when she sees them inside made the audience cry with joy.

Introducing new characters in a show like The living Dead is difficult. Audiences already know who they can trust and love to watch, and when someone new enters the picture, it can take them a while to become a fan. 4/9 Keep the peace in Alexandria

Michonne Alexandria
AMC

For the entire group, it is shocking to see a community as composed, clean, protected and safe as Alexandria. However, Michonne seems to be one of the few people who sees the potential for a future in the place. Rick goes off the rails with his need to “toughen up” the residents to help them survive. He starts screaming, blood covering his face and waving his gun in the middle of the community. Well, Michonne is calling it all off. Michael (1)
AMC

Michonne is one Walking dead character you can always count on. When she runs away from Woodbury and Glenn and Maggie are captured, she decides to take the baby food to jail herself. This marks the beginning of what will be a lifelong bond between Michonne and the rest of the show’s main group. As fans of the show, it’s hard for us not to remember the image of Michonne and her “pets” outside the prison gates with a basket of baby food in hand.

2/9 Michonne versus the governor

Michonne The Governor
AMC

The Governor is one of the scariest and most unhinged villains in the world The living Dead. For a man who keeps his dead walker daughter caged and chained in a back room, Michonne was absolutely right not to trust the man. Michonne is one of the best character judges on the show and in the world they live in, that’s a valuable asset. She knew right away that the governor was bad news and she went in herself to kill him. Although she failed to kill him, the one-on-one match left the governor with one less eye and one less zombie daughter.

1/9 Fighting the Children’s Army

If Michonne is anything, she’s strong. After Rick left, Michonne is pregnant and ready to rebuild the community while taking care of Judith. Judith is taken by Michonne’s old friend and when she goes with Daryl to get her back, they encounter a ruthless group of child killers, making them more difficult to defeat than the typical foe. When Judith’s life is threatened, a pregnant Michonne slaughters the entire group of children. Killing so many children takes its toll on her, but is a testament to her strength and dedication to do whatever it takes to save those she loves.
