Actress Tunisha Sharma has died by suicide at the age of 20. She attempted suicide by hanging herself in the makeup room of Sheezan Khan, the protagonist of her TV show Ali Baba: Dastan-E-Kabul. She was taken to hospital in critical condition, but she could not be saved. According to Bharat 24, Tunisha has been feeling tense in recent days. When approached for a byte, she had put it off saying she was not in a good situation and had asked the media to come back the next day. She usually greeted everyone with a smile and was always excited to talk to the media. She played the role of Mariam in Ali Baba: Dastan-E-Kabul. Just three days ago, Tunisha had said in her interview that she wanted to return to her hometown in Chandigarh to celebrate Christmas Eve and share her New Year’s plans. She had also shown her excitement by celebrating her birthday on January 4 with her family and friends. She had talked about how her mother used to make good food and give her presents to make her feel special. She had said she missed her hometown friends and would be taking some time off from her ongoing shoot.

The report claims that Tunisha and Sheezan were apparently dating. She reportedly had a fight with Sheezan on the sets before deciding to hang herself in his make-up room. However, it is uncertain to say what prompted Tunisha to take such a drastic step to end her own life and it is now a matter of police investigation. Just five hours ago, the actress had shared a behind-the-scenes video of her doing her makeup on the sets.
