A year ago, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper took tequila shots while ushering in 2022 on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live,” but this year the booze party is on hold. Cohen promises that he will not drink, but the annual countdown will still be “banging” and that he will party responsibly.

Cohen and Cooper will be back on Times Square at 8 p.m. ET on CNN, with guests Gene Smart and Cheri Oteri. Scheduled performances include Usher, Kevin Hart, Patti LaBelle, Nick Cannon, Jennifer Lewis, John Stamos and Tenacious D’s Jack Black and Kyle Gass.

At 12:30 AM ET, Don Lemon will conduct a live broadcast from New Orleans to usher in the new year in the Central Time Zone.
