Emily In Paris Star Lily Collins Doesn’t Have Many Paris Recommendations

Although Emily Cooper has made it her mission to selfie every corner of Paris in “Emily in Paris,” star Lily Collins doesn’t have as many Parisian recommendations as you’d think.

“I don’t have as much free time as I wish I had to explore,” Collins Told In a recent interview with The New York Times. “I’m constantly searching for new places and asking people to list because I love non-touristy places.”

Despite having already filmed three seasons in Paris — the Season 3 finale kicked off with a drama-filled finale — Collins says she’s still excited about shooting in the historic city, when it comes to classic Parisian landmarks. Looks at

“Whenever I’m in the city and I see the Eiffel Tower, no matter how many times I’ve seen it, I still get giddy,” she said. “It’s such a feat.”

Although Collins considers herself a Parisian novice, she finds comfort in using coffee shops as her North Star. “I look for coffee shops everywhere,” the actress said, adding, “In a foreign city, they can provide a sense of home and a sense of comfort.”

The “Love, Rosie” star also made a mark monocle magazine as their trusted guide as they travel, noting that their recommendations for art and fashion are true to “places that residents go to and that celebrate local artisans.”

“When we’re traveling, we sometimes schedule our trips around things we read in Monocle magazine,” she said. “It may also help determine where we go next. If there’s one place that’s so cool and has all these amazing places to visit that we didn’t know about, maybe that’s the next destination.
