Tim Allen denies Pamela Anderson’s claims that he flashed her when she was 23 while filming about home improvements.

Pamela Anderson claimed that Tim Allen flashed her during the incident while they were filming Home Improvement in 1991.

Pamela Anderson has claimed that Home improvement star Tim Allen once flashed his genitals at her while working on the set of the sitcom. In her new book, “Love, Pamela,” the actress and model traces her rise to fame as one of the most recognized sex symbols of a generation. One except from the book obtained by Variety describes an incident that happened when she was 23, and Tim Allen flashed her in a hallway as a way to “even them out” in a reference to Anderson’s naked Playboy shoots of the time. Tim Allen has denied in a statement to the publication that the incident ever happened.

According to Anderson’s book, the incident took place in 1991 and is one of the star’s many explosive claims. Home improvement was one of Anderson’s first screen credits, and she appeared in two seasons before leaving to focus on her other breakout role as CJ Parker in Baywatch. Her memoirs read:

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

“On the first day of shooting I walked out of my dressing room and Tim was standing in the hallway in his dressing gown. He opened his robe and quickly flashed me – completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed awkwardly.”

At the time of the alleged incident, Tim Allen was 14 years older than Anderson. Variety contacted the actor, who last appeared in Disney+ sequels The Santas, and he categorically denied that the incident ever happened. He said:

“No, that never happened. I would never do such a thing.”

In addition to her revealing memoir, Pamela Anderson wants to “set the record straight” with a new documentary on Netflix. Pamela, A love story arrives on the platform on January 31, the same day her book is released. After shunning recent shows like Pam and Tommysays the 55-year-old in the documentary’s trailer:

“I want to take control of the story for the first time.”

Director Ryan White previously discussed bringing Pamela’s story to life her way. He noted:

“She is [Anderson] finally tell her story in her own words, but she also doesn’t know which archive videos and personal diaries will be used in the final film. She gave us carte blanche to use the archive [footage for] how we thought the story was best told is a sign of how authentically Pamela has lived her life. She owns every part of her life – the good, the bad and the ugly. It’s an incredibly fragile but courageous way to live.”

The documentary promises to be a warty look at the life of a cultural icon, who grew up in the public eye, sometimes for all the wrong reasons. According to White, “Pamela is unapologetically Pamela.” Whether the documentary will feature any of the seemingly controversial revelations from her memoir is unclear, but one way or another, the world is sure to be talking about Pamela Anderson again.
