People Media Factory And Abhishek Agarwal Arts Come Together Karthikeya 2the sequel to the 2014 movie Karthikeya. The upcoming film retains the supernatural mystery thriller theme of the prequel and is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. While the film’s teaser has already been released in Southern languages, the film’s promo was released in Hindi earlier today.
Karthikeya 2 Team Visit Iskcon Temple To Seek Blessings
Before the promo release of Karthikeya 2 in Hindi, the film’s team had visited the iconic Iskcon Brindavan Temple to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna. This time it goes through the Manusmriti verse – “Dharma eva hato hati dharmo rakṣatirakṣitaḥ tasmād dharmo na hantavyo mā no dharmo hato’vadhīt” – meaning “Justice, desolate, destroy; and justice, save, save; therefore justice should not are desolate, that the desolate righteousness should not devastate us.”
Speaking of the film, a source close to the development said: “This magnum opus is a well-researched story full of entertainment with thrilling visuals and heightened emotions. As director Chandoo Mondeti brings his unique vision to the film, lead actor Nikhil Siddhartha brings an unshakable presence on screen and a sense of strong confidence.”
Speaking of the film, TG Vishwa Prasad said: “Character Karthikeya has the potential to be expanded and explored in a wide variety of mythological and historical stories. After witnessing director Chandoo Mondeti’s deep knowledge of history and ancient scripts, it is a good choice to continue his vision for this Epic Indian Adventure. Karthikeya 2 is a project full of conviction”.
Abhishek Agarwal added: “Karthikeya 2 is one of our most ambitious projects to date. When Chandoo told the script, we knew we had to be on board. This is a film that celebrates Dharma and takes you on a mystical adventure ride.”
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, the sequel starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivas Reddy, Viva Harsha, Aditya Menon, with cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni and music by Kaala Bhairava. The film has been dubbed in 5 languages and is expected to be released on July 22.
