Oscars 2023 Red Carpet: Live Stream Best Looks and Arrivals [VIDEO]

Hollywood’s biggest night is just hours away, when ABC airs the 95th Academy Awards tonight at 9/8c. In the meantime, would you settle for Hollywood’s biggest day?

Because we all know the (almost) three-hour ceremony isn’t the only thing the world looks forward to on Oscar Sunday. ABC News’ On the Red Carpet Live: Countdown to the Oscars 95 begins broadcasting live at 1:30 p.m., providing red carpet coverage and interviews throughout the day, until the show begins.

Linsey Davis and Whit Johnson will host from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, joined by ABC News’ Chris Connelly and ESPN’s Kelley Carter, as well as VarietyElizabeth Wagmeister and Clayton Davis, as well as celebrity stylist Joe Zee.

This year’s eclectic mix of Best Picture nominees includes In the west, nothing is new, Avatar: The Way of the Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything everywhere all at once, The Fabelmans, Tar, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of sadness and talking women.

As for the main categories of actors, all eyes are on the race for best actress, a formidable quintuple: Cate Blanchett for TarAna de Armas for BlondAndrea Riseborough for To LeslieMichelle Williams for The Fabelmans and Michelle Yeoh for Everything everywhere all at once.

The race for best actor is also a mix of new faces and essentials: Austin Butler for ElvisColin Farrell for The Banshees of InisherinBrendan Fraser for The whalePaul Mescal for After Sun and Bill Nighy for Life.
