The actress, who is currently loved for her role as Nandini Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2, talks about the compliments she gets and how she copes with the fear of being tagged as an actor who can only play negative roles.
Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 2 star Shubhaavi Choksey talks about being typecast; says “The day I play my age on the screen things will change organically”
First, Shubhaavi rejected all preconceived ideas and connotations that people have formed in their minds about her. She said: “Honestly it’s just a perspective – which I don’t stick to. I’ve played roles much older than my age and always heard ‘you look so young’. The day I turned my age On the screen, things will change organically. Incidentally, negative roles will also change and in all modesty I am a versatile actor. It is only a matter of time.”
Professionally, Shubhaavi has played various roles in a series of iconic shows to date. However, the actress, who is known for her acting in many shows, including the recent remake of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is looking forward to scouring the web space as well.
