Grand Admiral Thrawn’s origin goes back to the novel Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. After the novel, Thrawn (originally named Mitth’raw’nuruodo) made the jump to television in Star Wars Rebels and then to a comic book series before returning to the realm of novels.

Its relevance mainly lies in the fact that it was one of Palpatine’s right-hand men, so his role in the stories was always very important.

For his part, Huyang was a Mark IV droid architect and professor aboard the Jedi Crucible ship, which taught Jedi Initiates for a thousand generations, including Grand Master Yoda and Jedi Master Mace Windu, how to build their lightsabers after the Assembly .

His goal was to accompany the young apprentices to the planet Ilum, and once they recovered the Kyber crystal that summoned them through the Force, he would help them design the weapon.
