Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx is recovering after experiencing an undisclosed “medical complication,” according to a post on Instagram made by his daughter on Tuesday.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne Foxx posted on her instagram account on Wednesday.
Foxx’s daughter did not elaborate on her father’s medical condition, but said, “Due to prompt action and great care, he is already well on his way to recovery.”
His family is yet to mention the actor’s hospitalization TMZ is reporting The actor was taken to the hospital and “he’s communicating now, and that’s great news.”
TheWrap reached out to Foxx’s rep, but she did not immediately respond at the time of this posting.
The 55-year-old got his start in the business doing comedy. He was on Fox’s hit show “In Living Color” in the 90’s and years later he got his own show “The Jamie Foxx Show”.
