Trump official admits in 2020 that Dominion machines were ‘very accurate’ (audio)

In newly surfaced audio from December, 2020, a Trump campaign official acknowledged that when the Georgia secretary of state audited Dominion voting machines, the findings came “very close” to counting the machines, and that “no physical Had no issues with them”.

The admission contradicts the false claim made by Donald Trump and his allies that the 2020 election was rigged against him. Listen to the recording at the top of the page now.

In the recording, aired exclusively on Wednesday’s episode of “Alex Wagner Tonight,” the official can be heard speaking to former Fox News producer Abby Grossberg. Grossberg was a senior booking producer for Maria Bartiromo, and later head of booking for Tucker Carlson before being fired by the network.

Grossberg asked the Trump official if any voting machines had been seen in Georgia.

“I’ll have to check on that in terms of Georgia, I know they checked those machines during the audit,” the officer said in the recording. “Can we just go off the record here for a second?”

Grossberg replied, “Yeah, definitely. Absolutely. I don’t want us to say it, if it isn’t. So we’re investigating.”

“I think they looked at the machines. When the secretary of state audited it. I think there was a lot to look at the machines. The audit came pretty close to counting the machine with the receipts. So, you know I don’t know those results, but our understanding, again, is from the Secretary of State’s office, that there were no physical problems with the machines in those inspections.”

The recordings are among evidence that failed to turn up during discovery in Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox Networks. The company played the recording in the court on Wednesday. The recordings were given to Dominion and later to Wagner by Grossberg’s legal team.

Fox was cleared by the presiding judge at the trial on Wednesday to withdraw that evidence.

Grossberg’s legal team stated that they handed over the recordings to Dominion when they learned that Fox had not handed them over. She also stated that the tapes and audio recordings were widely circulated and discussed within the network.

Fox News is also being sued By Grossberg, who claims the network pressured her to lie about the 2020 election, and that it is attempting to set her up to decline the Dominion lawsuit.
