The film features Kevin Hart as Ace, a super-powered boxer who becomes Batman’s pet, and Johnson as Krypto, the ultimate Labrador retriever who is Superman’s pet.
Since the film is an animated children’s movie, Hart and Johnson get to dive into their playability with each other, as their jokes inherently come from a place of lightheartedness, akin to that of a long-standing friendship born from a place of innocence.They continue their banter, laughing at each other’s dog breath, and while they may rival each other, they reel in their inner loyalties to produce a dynamic super-dog duo.

They immediately have to work to survive the increasingly difficult conditions. Though their relationship as Smolder the archaeologist and Mouse the zoologist was tested, the duo brought their traditional banter to their roles, making this a film of comedic alchemy.

Stone made sure to track him down and used the reunion as a ploy to get close to Joyner so that Stone could use Joyner’s forensic accounting files on a case he was working on.
Stone, who has gone MIA at the agency, makes his way into Joyner’s house, head and heart. Joyner ends up helping Stone in more ways than one and eventually joins the CIA alongside Stone, the friend who helped him as much as he did for him in school and again when Stone was in trouble with the CIA.
With friendships carried over from the outside to the screen like Kevin Hart and The Rock, it’s miraculous that the movie can progress to portray their bond through a myriad of characters. Their relationship is uniquely comical, and when they grace the screen with their banter, it’s always with laughter, making their work as entertaining as possible.
