The Cinema Audio Society has announced its key dates for the 2023-24 awards season. The 60th Annual CAS Awards will be presented live and in person on Saturday March 4th. Venue is TBA.
The nominations for film, television, and products for production and post-production will be announced on January 9th. The full schedule is below.

“The CAS looks forward to recognizing the best contributions of 2023 to the collaborative arts of film and television through sound mixing,” CAS President Peter Kurland said in a statement. “We’ll also look at the milestones of our rich 60-year history advancing the art of auditory appreciation.”

The recipients of the CAS Career Achievement Award and CAS Filmmaker Award will be announced later in the year.

Thursday 19 October: Registration forms available on-line
Thursday, November 30 (5 p.m. PT): Submissions are due on-line
Tuesday, December 19: Voting on the nominating ballot begins on-line
Tuesday, January 2 (5:00 p.m. PT): Voting on the nominate pick ends on-line
Tuesday, January 9: Announcement of final nominees in each category
Friday, January 19: Nomination errors and grace period
Thursday 8 February: Final voting begins on-line
Tuesday, February 20 (5 p.m. PT): Final voting closes on-line
Saturday, March 2nd: 60th Annual CAS Awards
