Geraldo Rivera is leaving “The Five,” the Fox News ratings juggernaut that features a rotation of regular hosts — including a “left-leaning” seat often occupied by seasoned investigative reporters.
“Morning, it’s official, I’m out of ‘The Five,'” Rivera said Wednesday without giving a reason. “My last scheduled events are on Thursday and Friday June 29 and 30. It’s been a great run and I appreciate this opportunity.”
Rivera also admitted, at times, that she clashed — which was the point of her being there, let’s be fair — with her more conservative Fox News co-hosts.
“It’s not always easy getting Ed Man Out,” he said. “At the moment, I’m still largely a reporter.”
Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
