However, did you know that Erica was part of multiple movies in the south? She has made Kannada, Tamil and Telugu movies. In her Kannada debut film, Ninnindale, she got the chance to team up with the late superstar Puneeth Rajkumar. However, Erica’s experience working in the Southern film industry was not great. The actress recently opened up about the issues she faced as she was very thin.
Recently, during a conversation with ETimes, the actress said: “I was very thin then. I was 18 years old when I started making South movies. I worked for a few years. During that time I had problems. I was thin and according to them not fit at the time. They wanted some mass on me. That’s why I had to fill up to get into the character they wanted to portray. I’ve been dealing with those issues. I guess I don’t now would do more.”
Erica Fernandes’s statements have gone viral news. She also revealed that she was being replaced in a Southern movie despite gaining a few pounds. She stated that she had struggled to gain weight and that even the hero of the film was gaining weight. When the actress saw the hero on the set, he had gained weight, and compared to him, her efforts faltered, because Erica’s changes were not visible.
