Anupamaa is one of the most watched TV programs in the country. It was recently in the news when Paras Kalnawat who played the role of Samar Shah in the show was ousted with immediate effect. A few days ago it was confirmed that the makers have cast Sagar Parekh as the new Samar in Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupama. And it seems that Sagar Paras has successfully replaced Kalnawat on the sets of the show.
Contract termination of Paras Kalnawat of Anupamaa
A few days ago, reports surfaced that Paras had been expelled from Anupamaa. The production house said Paras had breached the contract, which resulted in its termination. Paras Kalnawat wanted to participate in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Paras, on the other hand, called it a PR stunt because minutes after he received the termination email, the news hit the media. Paras later made shocking revelations about the set and cast members of the TV show Anupamaa. The young actor and the TV show Anupamaa were much discussed in the news. And now we hear that Paras Kalnawat is a thing of the past on the sets of Anupamaa. As you all know, Sagar Parekh joined Anupamaa as the new Samar.
Sagar Parekh has a bond with cast and crew of Anupamaa
Since joining the filming of Anupamaa, Sagar has also been seen in Niti Taylor’s Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan and Parth Samthaan’s relationship with the cast and crew of the TV show Anupama. A well-placed source in the industry informed us that Sagar and the Anupamaa cast members get on well. Well, it’s not easy for an actor to bond with everyone when he gets halfway through the cast. Samar is one of the main cast members and so far Paras Kalnawat has been a part of the show. That’s not the case with Sagar, though, and we hear the cast and crew have been quite warm in welcoming Sagar as Samar, the source reveals. Everyone takes care of the new Samar on the sets. We also hear that Anu aka Rupali Ganguly and Samar aka Sagar Parekh clicked right away. They will be seen as the new on-screen mother-son duo in Anupamaa. Sources say that Sagar and Rupali, aka Samar and Anu’s amazing band, will be featured in upcoming episodes of the show.
Well, some fans still associate Paras with Samar. And yes, he will be missed because he has engraved the character on everyone’s heart. Nevertheless, the upcoming episodes will see that Sagar is also perfect as Samar. As they say, you have to move on. And the TV industry is moving fast.
