The actor recently won the IAA Brand Endorser of the Year award and his happiness was evident in his heartfelt conversation at the event. Speaking of his love for notes and what prompted him to take notes. The actor said: “I believe Shah Rukh Khan has been a pioneer in many aspects of Indian entertainment. His contribution to Indian cinema, Indian entertainment and Indian advertising, especially in the field of celebrity advertising, is one of a kind. .”
He went on to elaborate on how the actor changed the scene of celebrity endorsements, explaining, “I had an academic conversation with someone and they told me that in the early and mid-90s it was almost stigmatizing for movie stars to brand notes.There was the thought somewhere that this is below us because we are artists.But Shah Rukh Khan came and said that I am not only an artist but also an entertainer, I am a showman and he took this away from advertising, did things that hadn’t been done before. He’s the one who created that path and I’m just following his footsteps.”
