After an overwhelming response to the previous two seasons, Zee TV recently launched season 3 of its popular non-fiction show – DID Super Moms. The jury includes some prominent names such as Remo D’Souza, Bhagyashree Dassani and Urmila Matondkar who guide and guide the talented mothers on their journey and help them realize their dance dreams. While we have witnessed the energetic performances of the top 12 contestants over the past few weeks, this weekend awaits viewers as Janhvi Kapoor will grace the show as a special guest.
DID Super Moms: Janhvi Kapoor and Urmila Matondkar share a special bond and it is related to Sridevi
After one of the contestants named Sadika portrayed a pregnant mother during a performance, Judge Urmila Matondkar revealed that she recalled the time when a pregnant Sridevi photographed for juda. As she grew nostalgic about those wonderful days, she even talked about meeting Janhvi outside of the DID Super Moms set and they shared a moment when she thought back to her late mother, Sridevi. What’s more, Urmila also made a shocking revelation about her obvious connection to Janhvi!
Urmila Matondkar said about this: “Sadika, I must say that you have beautifully portrayed the whole journey of your pregnancy in a very graceful way, but the real hero of this act was your daughter – Maera. I think this act was complete only because of her presence In fact this is the same thing I discussed with Janhvi when I met her outside the set I remember shooting with Sridevi Ji for one of the songs in our movie – juda, she was pregnant with Janhvi at the time. We talked about having a connection even before she was born, and I have to say it was a really heartwarming moment for us to reconnect about it. Like Sridevi Ji, you have also danced with your daughter, and I wish your life in the future to be filled with much love and happiness.”
While all the Super Moms put their best foot forward, it was Sadika Khan and her choreographer Vivek Chachere’s performance on the song ‘Sapna Jahan’ from the movie brothers that caught everyone’s attention. Their beautiful act about Sadika’s pregnancy journey even made everyone emotional.
DID Super Moms is broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Zee TV.
