Shekhar Suman says he advised the comedian to look after his health a fortnight ago, noticed his weakness

Popular comedian Raju Srivastava has been on a ventilator in AIIMS, New Delhi for the past few days after suffering a heart attack while exercising at the gym on 10 August. He underwent an angioplasty on the same day. His manager revealed that Raju’s health is improving slightly, but he is still in the ICU on a ventilator. His friend and actor Shekhar Suman recently revealed that he had noticed Raju’s weakness and advised him to take care of his health two weeks ago. “Raju had come on the sets of India’s Laughter Champion about 15 days ago and we had chatted for a long time in my vanity van. I had noticed that he had become a little weak and I also advised him to take it easy a little and not much making an effort in life. He was fine, but I did tell him to take care of his health. He said he had no ailments and that everything was fine. And after 15 days, we got this shocking news that he was hospitalized,” Shekhar told TOI, adding that he is in contact with his cousin and family. Shekhar also shared Raju’s health update, saying that the comedian moved his fingers three days ago and is showing signs of improvement. He hoped Raju would recover quickly. He had previously informed fans that Raju was stable. He also expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for inquiring about Raju’s health and treatment. “While Raju is still on a ventilator, he is stable enough to be moved for a probable MRI. Thanks @narendramodi ji @rajnathsingh ji @myogiadityanath ji for inquiring about his health and arranging the best doctors but most importantly his It’s YOUR prayers that have given him new life,” Shekhar had tweeted.

In addition to Shekhar, Kailash Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi have prayed for Raju’s speedy recovery and urged people to stop spreading rumors about his health condition.
