The Star Plus TV Show imlie began with Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani as the lead actors. A few months ago, Gashmeer left the show, and Fahman Khan took over the male leadership. Fahmaan’s character Aryan got huge love and his chemistry with Sumbul also gets a fantastic response. A few weeks ago, the show took a five-year jump, and then there were reports that Imlie would go off the air and come back with season 2 with the jump and new actors.
The show’s producer had also confirmed that the jump will happen and had stated that the lead actors will be replaced because they don’t like playing parents. While some reports suggest that Farhaam and Sumbul will both leave the show, some state that Sumbul will return in Season 2 and the Fahmaan will leave the show.
