Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is known as a stubborn lady. She’s also someone who won’t shy away from giving it back on social media if she feels the other person was humiliating. Well, she shared a video about the plight of women in Afghanistan and some fans didn’t like it. They reminded her that Bilkis Bano suffers as much as she does, yet she chooses to ignore the harsh reality in her own country. As we know, the 11 men who allegedly raped Bilkis Bano during the horrific Godhra riots of 2002 were granted pardon by the government. This move has sparked outrage in India. People talk about how justice has been compromised for the lady and it is a blot on the Indian justice system.
Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya said there was no need for a celebrity to talk about every problem that arose. She said she is not aware of the details of the Bilkis Bano case and did not comment. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya said this crowd mentality of people trolling those who express themselves on social media has made celebs wary. Everyone was cautious for fear of reactions from different sides. She also said it was unfair to stereotype her just because she was expressing an opinion. Check out the tweet below…
This whitewashed grave @Divyanka_T is more concerned about Afghan women’s rights while turning a blind eye to women in her own country!
These sellabrities are a blemish!
Spinless acorns! pic.twitter.com/WNJDa9AesX— ?عطیہ (@Atiya83H) August 20, 2022
You are mistaken! I have never turned a blind eye to women of our nation or any other nation. Get your facts checked before spouting nonsense. If you respected women everywhere, you wouldn’t have spit poison in your tweet! Get some spine lady to stand up for your kind! https://t.co/Y8SCTK8rX6

Kahin to aawaaz uthi! Monkey jaison ke kaaran-jo uth-ti awaz ko dabane turant aa jate hain, ek bat ki disha kodoosri aur modne aa jate hain, logon ne sach bolna hello band kar diya hai!
A bolen to bologe B bolo, B kahen to kahoge A kyun nahi! Bhai monkey apna emotion dekho, main apna! https://t.co/DfGlfH4KLE— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 20, 2022
What happened to Bilkis Bano in 2002 was an inhumane act. While those who want me to speak on the subject should know that, I can’t comment unless I know in depth.
It is not always necessary to have an opinion about everything, even if one is not aware of the facts. Don’t push!— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 20, 2022
I realize today why people keep their mouths shut, even when they are deeply touched by certain topics. We live in a world of much bitterness. The moment you pour out your heart, there is a group that wants you to cover a different topic. That’s demotivating!

You don’t really know a person behind a social media platform.
Forget the name. Am I pro religion? Pro karmic? Professional women? Or pro equality?
People love to give personality certificates when reading tweets. But you can’t really know the layers of human feelings in a small tweetable space— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 21, 2022
Do you realize that many of us “lovingly hate”?
I also get a hundred trollers on peaceful tweets. This shows how bigotry reigns.
While I am fully committed to standing up for justice, it is not correct to be disrespectful to show others your point.— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 21, 2022
Finally, I would like to add, if I speak my mind, stop yourself with mafia mentality! Just because one says something, don’t follow blindly!
Look at the context, investigate, analyze and then ‘maybe’ you speak. Don’t jump on the gun just because you know it’s not taxable!— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 21, 2022
Also, don’t judge a person because “you think” she/he is a celebrity or has a religion or political influence.
You don’t realize it, but you generalize everyone.
LET PEOPLE SPEAK! If you pull out swords every time someone opens their mouth, it will be a silent world full of cruelty— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 21, 2022
While you’re saying why celebs don’t speak, realize that some group isn’t actually letting them talk!

Poor you, you can’t read it seems you’re a machine! I speak for what I want …. not be led by the party! But maybe… You don’t really want me to speak! https://t.co/d1PvzB7jHR

?I laugh when reading arguments on tweets! Few want to fight just because verbal wrestling is their passion. It’s like there’s a tweet contest going on. Few do not understand that it is not always necessary to win or lose. You can AGREE not to AGREE…or let the opinions be. https://t.co/I3dWWk4Qat

Why should I be responsible to expose someone? Am I a journalist who dives into information professionally?
I felt that women from a few countries should be allowed away to be educated and earn. So I spoke. Comment on that if you want.
There are a hundred problems and I am not a newspaper. https://t.co/8zGTgUqH8D— Divyanka T Dahiya (@Divyanka_T) August 21, 2022
