Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh caused a stir on social media with his nude photo shoot for international magazine. The photo shoot was done for Paper magazine. Shortly thereafter, a complaint was filed against him at the Chembur Police Station in Mumbai by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. The actor would appear before that on Monday. However, he has asked for two more weeks.

Chembur Police Station had summoned actor Ranveer Singh to appear tomorrow. The actor has had two weeks to appear, now Chembur Police will issue another subpoena after setting a new date: Mumbai Police,” ANI News tweeted on Sunday.
According to the ANI report, an NGO has filed a complaint against Ranveer Singh’s naked photo shoot at Chembur Police Station. According to the complainant, the Bajirao Mastani actor should be charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Information Technology Act for the photo shoot as they also added that it hurt women’s feelings and insulted their modesty . However, a Chembur police officer was quoted as saying to these reports that they have not registered an FIR against the actor so far and that they are still investigating. “On Monday we received an application from a person associated with an NGO. No FIR has been registered so far. We are investigating,” the official said. R
