Aastha Choudhary told Bollywood Life: “Our friendship has changed a lot in the last ten years. When we started working, we were both immature because we were still quite young. We’ve had our creative differences. But our relationship has always been respectful. to him. If I needed a suggestion or anything, I could just call him and ask. Sidharth Shukla had a great career as a model before joining TV doing commercials for some of the top brands in different sectors. She also recalls how he never hesitated to go out of his way to help someone when he felt close to that person. I would say he did even more than anyone would expect and I loved that quality. As a newcomer I rarely spoke out to the production house. I worked the extra mile. After a while my health became seriously affected. Sidharth told me to prioritize my well-being and occasionally spoke to the team on my behalf. Not just for me, he did this for everyone close to me,” says Aastha .

Talking about Bigg Boss 13 and the gargantuan stardom it earned him, she says it was his raw appeal that struck the chord. “I know a few actors who were image conscious on that show. But Sid was real the whole time. People would have loved him for his TV characters, but his real side just won millions. No one will ever get that stardom from Bigg Boss, that season was something completely different,” she says.

One of the sad examples of recent times is how people close to celebrities are trolled after their deaths. Commenting on that, Aastha Choudhary said that social media has come into our lives so much that we will never go back to normal. She said: “This is because of the cheap internet (laughs).
